Le time lapse a été pris sur une période de 15 jours, certaines parties moins intéressantes ont été accélérées ou estompées (travail de cargaison, heures de lumière du jour sans nuages). La plupart des photos de nuit ont été prises avec une vitesse d'obturation de 25 secondes à un intervalle de 30 secondes, avec des arrivées et des départs au port à un intervalle de 4~8 secondes. note Le time-lapse a été présenté différemment de la rotation réelle du port, sa narration n'était pas linéaire. J'ai volontairement déplacé Charleston avant New York parce qu'il aurait été anti-climatique de commencer le time-lapse avec un jour sombre et pluvieux en arrivant à New York.
